One Price to the Door, or Only the Part You Need
The cheapest freight quote often isn't the cheapest shipment. A low DAP rate can turn into a customs broker's invoice, an import duty bill and a delivery fee after the goods land. With DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), we quote the whole chain up front: export customs in China, sea, air or express freight, import clearance, duties and taxes at destination, and delivery to the address you give us.
Not every buyer wants that. If you already have a customs broker, a forwarder at destination, or a supplier quoting FOB, we can quote DAP, FOB or CIF instead and cover only our part. Tell us how you want to split responsibility and we'll quote the terms side by side, so you can compare like with like.
Because the goods leave from our own facility, the shipping terms sit on top of everything else we do: labeling, packing, inspection and the boxes themselves. One quote covers the product leaving the production line and arriving at the door.

Shipping Terms We Quote
These are Incoterms 2020 rules. Each one decides who pays for which leg, and where the risk passes from seller to buyer.
DDP: Delivered Duty Paid
We handle export and import customs and pay duties and taxes in the destination country, then deliver to your door, warehouse or Amazon fulfillment center. You receive the goods without a separate customs bill.
DAP: Delivered at Place
We deliver to the named address, but import clearance, duties and taxes are on the buyer. Useful when you have your own customs broker or need to import under your own tax number.
FOB: Free on Board
For sea freight. The goods are cleared for export and loaded on board at the Chinese port; from there the buyer arranges and pays the ocean freight and everything after it.
CIF: Cost, Insurance and Freight
For sea freight. We pay the ocean freight and minimum cargo insurance to your destination port. Import clearance, duties and delivery from the port are on the buyer.
Sea, air or express
DDP and DAP can be quoted by sea freight, air freight or express courier. FOB and CIF are sea freight terms. We'll recommend the mode based on weight, volume and deadline.
Amazon FBA delivery
DDP shipments can go straight to an Amazon fulfillment center, with carton labels, pallet labels and the delivery appointment arranged where Amazon requires one.
Cargo Insurance
A carrier's liability for lost or damaged cargo is limited by international conventions and is usually far below the value of the goods. Cargo insurance covers the goods themselves.
Insured on the goods' value
Cover is normally placed at 110% of the CIF value, meaning the goods plus freight and insurance plus 10%, so a claim covers more than the invoice price.
Any shipping term
Insurance can be added to DDP, DAP or FOB shipments, not only CIF. Under CIF, minimum cover is included and we can quote broader cover if you need it.
Help with claims
If cargo arrives damaged or short, we provide the shipping documents, packing records and photos from our facility to support the claim.
How a DDP Shipment Works
- 1 Tell us what and where Product, HS code if you know it, cartons, weight, declared value and the delivery address.
- 2 Compare terms We quote DDP alongside DAP, FOB or CIF where it makes sense, with insurance as a separate line.
- 3 Prep and export Goods are labeled, packed and checked at our facility, then cleared for export from China.
- 4 Cleared and delivered Import customs, duties and taxes are handled at destination and the goods are delivered to the address you gave us.
FAQ
What exactly is included in a DDP quote?
Export customs clearance in China, the international freight, import customs clearance, import duties and taxes in the destination country, and delivery to the address you specify. Anything not included, such as special storage or a liftgate delivery, is listed separately in the quote.
Is DDP more expensive than DAP?
The quoted price is higher because it includes duties, taxes and clearance. The total cost is often similar or lower, because there are no separate broker fees or surprise bills on arrival. If you already have a broker at destination, DAP can work out cheaper.
Can you ship DDP to Amazon FBA warehouses?
Yes. We ship DDP to Amazon fulfillment centers, with FBA carton labels applied at our facility and the delivery appointment arranged where Amazon requires one.
Can I reclaim import VAT on a DDP shipment?
That depends on whose name the goods are imported under. If you're VAT-registered in the destination country and want to reclaim import VAT, tell us before booking. Importing under your own tax number on DAP terms may suit you better than an all-inclusive DDP rate.
My supplier quoted FOB. Can you take it from there?
Yes. Under FOB, the buyer books the main freight, so we can arrange it from the Chinese port. If the goods need labeling, inspection or repacking first, have the supplier deliver to our facility instead and we'll ship from here.
Do I need cargo insurance?
For anything you couldn't afford to lose, we recommend it. Carriers' liability is limited by convention and is usually much lower than the goods' value. Insurance is quoted as a separate line, so you can decide per shipment.
