Why Rigid Boxes Cost More, and When They Are Worth It
A rigid box is made from thick, stiff board wrapped in printed or specialty paper. It does not fold flat like a color box (unless it is a collapsible design), it feels heavy in the hand, and it keeps its shape after the customer opens it. That is why brands use it for gift sets, premium electronics, cosmetics, jewelry and anything where the unboxing is part of the product.

Rigid Gift Boxes FAQ
Which is better for shipping cost, a collapsible or a fixed rigid box?
A collapsible rigid box ships and stores flat, so it takes much less volume before it is set up. A fixed rigid box arrives already formed and takes the full box volume in the carton, which matters when you pay freight by volume.
Can you assemble my gift set into the rigid boxes?
Yes. We can receive every item in the set, place each one into its insert, close and label the box, and ship the finished sets to Amazon or any address.
How do rigid boxes avoid scuffs and dents in transit?
Each box is packed inside a corrugated carton sized to it, sometimes with a protective sleeve or bag, so the wrap paper and finish do not rub against other boxes.
Can a rigid box be sent to Amazon FBA as it is?
It needs an FNSKU or barcode on the outside, and it is usually shipped inside a corrugated carton that meets Amazon's carton limits. We plan the label position so it does not spoil the box design.
